Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- School-based experience highly valued; strong clinical backgrounds considered
- Skilled in screening, evaluating, and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders
- Team-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and classroom integration
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student growth
- Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services within the educational setting
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
