Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
  • School-based experience highly valued; strong clinical backgrounds considered
  • Skilled in screening, evaluating, and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Team-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and classroom integration
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student growth
  • Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services within the educational setting
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
