Travel School Speech Therapist | Auburn, Maine
Provide specialized speech-language services as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in a part-time, travel-based role located in Auburn, ME. This position involves working with a high school student individually for 45 minutes each week, supporting their communication goals within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech and language therapy aligned with the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Collaborate with the IEP team and school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensure requirements
- Travel to the assigned school as needed to provide direct services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Possess a valid Maine state license to practice as an SLP
- PROMPT certification is required to meet specific therapeutic needs
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with adolescent clients
- Comfortable with part-time hours and itinerant travel assignments
