A K-12 school located near Atlanta, GA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an onsite, contract position. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week in Douglasville, GA, approximately 20 minutes west of Atlanta. The position is ideal for both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and licensed professionals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Key Qualifications:
- Credentialed as an SLP, with preference given to candidates holding either a CCC or currently in their CFY
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to provide onsite services during regular school hours (no remote work available)
- Commitment to supporting speech and language development for diverse student populations
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Ensure compliance with school and state regulations regarding speech-language services
- Participate in team meetings and assist with assessments as required
