School Speech Language Pathologist - Athens, Georgia

As an essential member of the school team, you will serve a full elementary caseload, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff. Your expertise will help students reach their full potential by assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized intervention plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to evidence-based, culturally responsive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and deliver direct therapy and interventions, tailored to individual student needs
- Write and maintain accurate reports, evaluations, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers and families
- Advocate for students’ speech-language needs within the education team
- Utilize progress monitoring to inform data-driven instruction and supports
