Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Active Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist covering ages birth through 21)
- Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Ability to complete district background check and fingerprinting promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in a K-12 setting with mild to moderate needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and ensure compliance with IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and participation in IEP meetings
- Provide services onsite for 2 full days per week at one campus (Vega Collegiate Academy)
