School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Arvada, Colorado

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Colorado SLP licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; SLP-CFYs are welcomed and encouraged to apply
- Previous experience within a school-based environment is advantageous
- Effective communication skills for teamwork with faculty, families, and students
- Strong organizational abilities to track student progress and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities and the broader school community
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and perform regular assessments to adjust interventions as needed
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to planning to ensure compliance and support for every student
