Key Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Texas SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience or strong interest in working within school-based settings.
- Bilingual skills highly valued for two of the available positions.
- Background conducting evaluations, managing cases, and providing therapy in educational environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in elementary and some middle school grades.
- Manage student cases, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s unique needs and educational goals.
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services as required.
- Engage and communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Adjust workload priorities to reflect student population needs (Monolingual and Bilingual).
