Step into a meaningful role supporting students with your expertise as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll collaborate with dedicated school teams to foster communication growth and student success across multiple school sites, serving a diverse caseload of children and adolescents.

In this full-time assignment, you’ll embrace variety and flexibility as you split your time between school campuses, tailoring services to unique student needs. You'll have the opportunity to work in a culturally rich environment and leverage your Spanish and English language skills every day.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
  • Valid Illinois SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Previous experience or strong interest in supporting children and adolescents in school settings.
  • Adaptability for working across multiple sites and engaging with various age groups.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments.
  • Providing direct therapy for students with varied communication needs.
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals.
  • Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records per district and state requirements.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams.

You’ll work a standard 37.5 hours per week from late August through mid-June, experiencing the rewards of fostering growth in both communication skills and confidence.
