School Speech Language Pathologist - Arlington Heights, IL

In this full-time assignment, you’ll embrace variety and flexibility as you split your time between school campuses, tailoring services to unique student needs. You'll have the opportunity to work in a culturally rich environment and leverage your Spanish and English language skills every day.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
- Valid Illinois SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
- Previous experience or strong interest in supporting children and adolescents in school settings.
- Adaptability for working across multiple sites and engaging with various age groups.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Providing direct therapy for students with varied communication needs.
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals.
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records per district and state requirements.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams.
You’ll work a standard 37.5 hours per week from late August through mid-June, experiencing the rewards of fostering growth in both communication skills and confidence.
