Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Arlington Heights, IL

This on-site, contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated SLP-CCC professionals who are fluent in English and Spanish, passionate about fostering communication skills, and enthusiastic about collaborating across diverse educational settings.
This position offers a full-time schedule, providing 37.5 hours weekly during the academic year, with the flexibility to work at multiple school sites as needed. Assignments and caseloads will depend on school needs, with age groups and FTEs varying by location.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- School-based experience and flexibility in adapting to changing site needs preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
You’ll be responsible for:
- Evaluating students and developing tailored treatment plans
- Delivering direct therapy services to Pre-K through 12th grade (caseload varies)
- Working collaboratively with educators, staff, and families to support student IEP goals
- Conducting assessments and participating in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Maintaining accurate records and progress notes according to district and state policies
- Managing a dynamic caseload across potentially multiple sites
This contract is set to begin August 27, 2026 and continue through June 16, 2027, pending final district approval.
