School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Arlington Heights, Illinois

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for experienced SLP-CCCs who are passionate about supporting diverse learners and thrive in dynamic, multi-campus settings.
Starting August 27, 2026, and running through June 16, 2027, you’ll be part of a collaborative educational team, working on-site across one or several school sites in the area. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential, as you’ll work closely with students and families from a variety of backgrounds.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Current Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially in diverse environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders across a range of age groups (caseload varies by site)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative services in both English and Spanish, ensuring culturally responsive care
- Travel between multiple assigned school sites to provide equitable access to services
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking for compliance and student growth
