A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students through maternity leave coverage and itinerant services in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This contract role is ideal for candidates with strong school-based experience looking for a meaningful assignment in a school setting.
Position Details:
- Full-time: 35 hours per week (part-time candidates considered)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: August 7, 2026
- Location: Primarily Archbald, PA with itinerant work in Dunmore, PA in the spring
- Onsite work required; reliable transportation is necessary
- One opening available
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure
- Demonstrated school-based experience in SLP services
- Ability to obtain and complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to employment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to school-aged children in individual and small group settings
- Deliver itinerant services to students across multiple school locations as needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and school policies
