Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Wisconsin SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience in school settings is valued, though strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills for working with preschool and school-age children
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Position Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessment results, progress reports, and treatment plans
- Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and parents
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating positive learning environments
