School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Durham, North Carolina
If you’re an experienced SLP-CCC with a passion for supporting students’ communication growth, this school-based contract opportunity near Durham, NC, could be an excellent fit. In this role, you will provide in-person services on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week) throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. What You’ll Bring:
- Valid and active SLP-CCC certification (CFYs not considered)
- Current professional license and educator certificate
- Minimum of one year providing SLP services in a school setting
- Willingness to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and register with NC Tracks before your start date
- Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting prior to beginning
- Flexible, adaptive mindset; ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to students as assigned
- Conduct assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Manage a dynamic caseload at multiple schools within the district (assignments and ages will be provided during placement)
