A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school in Antioch, TN. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and educational planning as required
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification (CCC preferred)
- Experience working in educational settings with children from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education and speech therapy
