Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in Michigan or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or readiness to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learners across K–12 age groups
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services in classroom and pull-out settings
- Maintain effective documentation for student progress and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and ongoing professional development
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and growth
