Travel School-Based SLP | Anderson, South Carolina
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a full-time, travel position within a school setting in Anderson, South Carolina. This role offers a 37.5-hour workweek during the 2026-2027 school year, focusing on supporting elementary students with speech and language needs.
Ideal candidates will have experience or interest in pediatric speech therapy within educational environments. While new clinicians completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply, SLPA applicants will not be considered for this position. Full CF supervision and ongoing mentoring are provided, ensuring professional growth and development within a collaborative team.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification/licensure as an SLP (CFY candidates welcome)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language services, preferably in elementary schools
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload effectively
- Willingness to travel and work full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with other SLPs and educational staff
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to district-wide speech programs
- Engage in clinical supervision and professional development activities
This position is supported by a team of 12 SLPs across the district, including a designated lead clinician, fostering a supportive and structured work environment. The travel aspect of the role provides variety and exposure to diverse educational settings.
