School Speech and Language Pathologist | Greer, South Carolina
Step into a contract opportunity supporting elementary students during a maternity leave coverage in a dynamic educational setting. Serving two sites—each with an established full-time SLP—you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, collaborating in a supportive, resource-rich environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active SLP professional license as well as a South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Completion of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience, especially with elementary-aged students, is ideal
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage school caseloads; SLPA supervision not required for this assignment
- Passion for helping children build confidence in their communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to eligible students to support IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and existing SLPs at both campuses to coordinate care
- Maintain compliance through timely and accurate case documentation and progress reporting
- Contribute to IEP meetings, consultations, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
