Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Anaheim, California

This role is tailored for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who excels in bilingual (Spanish and English) communication and has a passion for fostering student development within school settings. With a 37.5 hour work week and hours set between 7:30am and 4:00pm, you'll enjoy a consistent daytime schedule as you engage with students, staff, and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Holds current SLP-CCC or is completing SLP-CFY with appropriate credentials.
- Depth of experience in school-based and pediatric SLP services.
- Demonstrates proficiency in conducting bilingual (Spanish and English) speech-language evaluations.
- Experienced in report writing and maintaining meticulous documentation.
- Skilled at creating and maintaining speech therapy service schedules and delivering direct services.
- Strong understanding of the unique needs within a TK-8 educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive bilingual speech-language assessments and evaluations.
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions targeting diverse communication needs.
- Draft clear, effective evaluation reports and therapy documentation.
- Develop, manage, and adhere to student service schedules in collaboration with school teams.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff in both Spanish and English.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student education plans.
- Adapt interventions to accommodate a wide variety of student needs across grade levels.
You’ll work on a supportive campus, providing vital impact during the assignment period from September to February.
