As a traveling SLP in a school-based setting, you’ll work 30-40 hours per week during the 26/27 school year. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred—but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience/interest in pediatric and school-based SLP settings
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative SLP services to students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to develop and implement IEPs
  • Maintain detailed student records and progress reports in compliance with district and legal standards
  • Engage families and caregivers to support student progress
  • Adapt intervention plans to meet individual student needs
