An exciting contract opportunity awaits an experienced Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for supporting students’ communication needs. For the 2026–2027 academic year, a full-time, onsite position is available in a dynamic school setting near Amherst, MA. This role involves delivering targeted speech and language services to a diverse student population, collaborating closely with educators, and making a significant impact in a supportive school environment.
Key qualifications:
• Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license (please include a screenshot as confirmation of active status)
• Certification as an SLP-CCC, with experience providing speech services in school-based environments
• Bilingual skills are essential for meeting the varied needs of the student community
• Proven experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
• Comfortable providing services exclusively in-person throughout the school year
• Must successfully pass a background check, fingerprinting, CORI, and drug screening
• Dependable transportation and punctuality are required; consistent attendance is essential
• Willingness to adhere to all district policies, including notification procedures for absences
Primary responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Collaborate with other educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal student outcomes
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for each case
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives
