Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license (active status required)
- SLP-CCC credential strongly preferred
- Experience delivering school-based speech services, ideally in bilingual settings
- Familiarity with the needs and challenges of diverse student populations
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
- Ability to pass a drug screening, fingerprinting, and background check (CORI)
- Reliable transportation for onsite attendance
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, intervention, and therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, family members, and support staff to implement strategies that enhance student communication in academic settings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and district initiatives as required
