Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas (SLP-CCC or SLPA credentials required)
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English preferred) to effectively support a diverse student population
- Previous experience in a school setting with K-12 students highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and training to support staff, students, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student planning
