An exciting contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to provide high-quality speech and language services in a dynamic educational setting near Altha, FL.
This is a full-time position extending across the entire academic year, allowing you to build valuable, lasting relationships with students and school staff. Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children with diverse speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support each student’s progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and professional guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input for student programs
