Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services as indicated on IEPs
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals
  • Offer professional guidance regarding communication disorders and appropriate classroom strategies
  • Keep up to date with best practices and professional development in the field
