Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Palmerton, PA | Grades 3–12
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. This position will serve students in grades 3–12 across two school locations and is a great opportunity for an SLP seeking a short-term school assignment.
Position Details:
- Assignment dates: December 13 – February 25
- Caseload of approximately 65 students
- Grades 3–12

Consistent daily schedule across two school locations:
- 7:15 AM – 9:00 AM: Junior High/High School
- 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM: S.S. Palmer
- School-based setting
- Competitive weekly pay
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs.
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data and documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff.
- Provide age-appropriate interventions to support students’ speech, language, and communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active or eligible Pennsylvania SLP license
- Appropriate school-based certification/credentialing
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred
- Strong IEP, documentation, progress-monitoring, and organizational skills
