Ideal candidates hold the CCC certification and have experience working in schools with preschool through high school students. Flexibility is essential, as assignments may shift between preschool and school-age caseloads over the school year, allowing you to broaden your experience and skill set.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Educator credential (Instructional I or II)
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Past experience in school or early intervention settings
- Ability to adapt across PreK–12 caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
Position Details and Responsibilities:
- Itinerant SLP services provided within preschool early intervention programs
- Flexible assignment—may transition to school-age population during the academic year
- 35-hour work week following the Early Intervention calendar (year-round scheduling)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy sessions
- Maintain documentation and coordinate with educators and families
- Foster student progress in communication and language development
- Cultivate relationships with multidisciplinary teams
This assignment starts July 6, 2026 and runs through June 11, 2027, providing continuity of care for students and valuable experience for your professional journey.
