Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated professionals to work with preschool-aged children across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. These positions offer meaningful variety, as assignments may shift to support students from PreK through 12th grade during the academic year, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.
The caseload primarily consists of itinerant services within preschool early intervention, with flexibility necessary to meet evolving student needs. You will collaborate with families, educators, and fellow specialists to foster language development and communication skills at a formative stage.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license and educator credential (Instructional I or II) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrable experience in school-based or early intervention SLP roles
- Flexibility and willingness to work with a range of ages (PreK–12th grade)
- Capable of working in-person and traveling within assigned counties
- Organized and collaborative, with strong documentation and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to preschoolers and, as needed, school-age students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Travel between sites to serve itinerant caseloads across Carbon or Lehigh County
- Collaborate regularly with families and educational staff
- Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with state and program guidelines
