A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support both elementary and high school students at two locations approximately 15 minutes apart in Allentown, PA. This role focuses on providing speech therapy services to a total caseload of 45 students with diverse communication needs, including AAC and autism-related speech challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary and high school students.
- Address a range of speech needs with a focus on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and autism.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
- Experience working within school settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage a caseload involving students with AAC and autism spectrum disorder.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
