Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of Virginia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfort working with diverse student populations, including those with varying levels of need
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff for holistic student support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by the school and district
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to the multidisciplinary team
