This position, starting August 17th, 2026 through June 12th, 2027, offers the unique opportunity to work on-site with an engaged, collaborative school team.
Leverage your expertise to help students reach their full communication potential in a structured, well-supported setting. Each week features a consistent 35-hour schedule, running seven hours per day, giving you balance and predictability throughout the school year.
Ideal Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in providing assessments, individualized therapy, and collaboration with educators and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management abilities
- Commitment to working on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, diagnostics, and therapy to students across K-12
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and related service professionals to create supportive educational plans
- Maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success in the educational environment
