Travel School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Albany, Oregon
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with credentials such as SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School to work in educational settings. This full-time, 40-hour per week position offers dynamic caseloads serving early intervention (EI) programs for children aged 0-5 years as well as K-12 programs. The work involves providing vital speech and language services that support students’ communication development and academic success.
Locations for this role are based in Albany and Corvallis, Oregon, with a travel component between sites. This variety allows for professional growth and engagement with diverse student populations within the public school system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students ranging from early intervention age through K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support effective communication strategies
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP certification (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between Albany and Corvallis locations
