This full-time, contract opportunity offers 40 hours per week working with an early childhood caseload, providing you with the chance to impact children during their most formative years.
This role is designed for professionals passionate about early communication development and comfortable with both evaluation and intervention. Key qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible state licensure for practice in educational settings
- Prior experience or clinical exposure to early intervention and/or pediatric populations
- Familiarity with best practices in EI, including assessment, case management, and family engagement
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a collaborative approach
- Able to work independently as an itinerant SLP, traveling across sites as needed
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments for early childhood students referred for EI services
- Delivering individualized and group speech-language therapy according to IEP and IFSP goals
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary evaluation team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Consulting with families and school staff to facilitate carryover of intervention strategies
- Maintaining timely and thorough documentation in accordance with program and state guidelines
- Participating in team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities
