Pediatric Speech Therapist in Berlin, NY
This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Berlin, NY. The role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, with a flexible schedule that accommodates four days per week (.4 FTE) from Monday to Friday.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New York State SLP license through the NY Department of Education
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in children from kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students exhibiting communication challenges across the K-12 spectrum
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and professional standards
