Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lakewood, New York
Step into an impactful role providing speech and language services to children in an engaging educational setting next school year. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of K-5th grade students two days each week, helping them unlock their communication potential and achieve classroom success.

Qualifications we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP Licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Eligibility to supervise Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed, but not required
- Experience with pediatric populations in schools or clinical environments
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation
- Comfortable providing services in-person and/or via teletherapy as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
In this role, you’ll:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs for K-5th graders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Regularly monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Complete and maintain accurate records, including IEP participation and compliance
- Consult with teachers, caregivers, and specialists to support student growth
- Use technology to enhance therapy and provide remote services if required
