Speech Language Pathologist in Albany, CA

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services during the 26/27 school year in a dynamic educational setting located in Albany, CA. This contract position seeks two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support PK-TK and elementary caseloads effectively. Caseloads are capped at 55 students to ensure personalized attention and quality care. While onsite work is preferred to enhance collaboration and student interaction, virtual candidates with the right qualifications will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for PK-TK and elementary students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and therapy sessions
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license is mandatory
- Previous experience in school settings is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working with children and educational teams
