Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Familiarity with educational assessments and IEP processes
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and parents
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions individually and in groups
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document outcomes
- Consult with classroom teachers and participate in IEP meetings to support students’ needs
- Provide support and resources to families and educational staff
