Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or enrolling in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is welcomed
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for school-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring legal compliance and optimal student progress
- Collect and analyze data to measure student outcomes, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support family engagement in the therapy process
- Document all services and progress in accordance with school and professional standards
