Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid and active professional license for the state of Georgia
- Georgia PSC certification (new requirement)
- Current authorization and membership with ASHA
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass fingerprinting and a drug screen
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in elementary and middle grades
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to inform IEP development
- Write comprehensive reports and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress monitoring
- Remain current with best practices, district policies, and regulatory requirements
