Pediatric Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) - Nashville, TN

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential preferred
- At least 3 years of experience supporting adults with ASD, including individuals without intellectual disabilities
- Proven background in addressing mental health, sensory processing, executive functioning, and socialization issues connected to ASD
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Pediatric experience in school settings highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop tailored intervention plans for those diagnosed with ASD
- Provide direct therapeutic support and behavioral interventions in alignment with best practices
- Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Conduct professional development and training for faculty on ASD-related challenges and interventions
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to IEP processes and goal-setting
- Advocate for inclusive practices and foster a positive, supportive learning environment
