Job Description:
BlazerJobs is currently seeking an E Board-Certified Adapted Art Therapist to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This full-time position, available immediately, will continue through the summer, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
The selected candidate will work across six schools, providing art therapy to students who require emotional support and/or have cognitive needs. Previous experience working in schools is preferred.
Duties:
- Provide adapted art therapy to students with emotional and/or cognitive needs
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement therapeutic interventions
- Assess students' needs and progress
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions
Preferred Qualifications:
- E Board-Certified Art Therapist
- Previous experience working in schools
- YOGA certification would be a plus
Requirements:
- Degree in Art Therapy or related field
- E Board-Certification as an Art Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel between six schools
