In addition, Delaware is one of only five states having no sales tax. Another unique site in Delaware is the Winthur Museum, which offers visitors 1,000 acres of manicured fields, the perfect place to enjoy a picnic after hiking one of the trails in the vast forests on the acreage. The property includes a 100 room chateau. Also worth a visit is historic New Castle, which preserves the look and feel of colonial America in a working, active village which includes restaurants and peaceful bed & breakfasts.
