Pay: 45/Hour
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Minnesota. As a Virtual SLP, you will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to clients of all ages via teletherapy platforms. You will assess, diagnose, and treat various speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, collaborating closely with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities using virtual assessment tools.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and innovative teletherapy tools.
- Monitor clients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure continual improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to clients' caregivers, empowering them to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including educators, physicians, and psychologists, to coordinate care and support clients' overall well-being.
- Stay informed about advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and incorporate new research and best practices into clinical work.
- Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and regulatory standards governing telepractice and speech therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Minnesota.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, with experience in teletherapy preferred.
- Strong understanding of various speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, as well as their assessment and treatment.
- Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy, with a dedication to improving clients' quality of life.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently, while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
