Travel Contract: Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist, Salem OR

Calling on Clinical Fellows and ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologists who want to work with Early Childhood (3-5) populations, and are open to moving! Soliant has partnered with a long-time partner that serves children in the greater Salem, OR area, and is seeking a travel SLP for the upcoming school year.
How does one qualify as a traveler?
- Will you be arranging temporary housing during the school year?
- Will you be commuting 50+ miles to work?
If so, you qualify for housing and/or meals and incidentals stipends!
For Early Childhood SLPs, duties include:
- Evaluating students with suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
- Providing comprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines
- Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Family Service Plans
- Providing speech and/or language therapy to children identified with communication disorders.
- Maintaining accurate service records of patients on caseload
- Developing integrated goals with other education staff for children with multiple or other disabilities.
- Consulting with staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.

- Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
- Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment
Requirements:
- SLP license from the Oregon Board of Speech-Language Pathology
