Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Mccleary, WA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure and eligibility to practice in the state
- Prior experience in school environments or pediatric therapy strongly preferred
- Foundation in providing therapy, documentation, and support as an SLPA
- Ability to implement treatment plans designed by an SLP and adapt to the needs of students
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with young children and educational teams
- Familiarity or willingness to learn remote collaboration technology
Responsibilities:
- Work onsite for 6 hours each school day, supporting around 80 students
- Provide speech-language therapy to PreK–2nd grade students, including those in specialized high-needs classrooms
- Deliver services in accordance with IEP goals under the supervision of a virtual SLP
- Collect data, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate session notes
- Assist with communication, social skills, and language development interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure comprehensive care for each student
- Participate in team meetings and help adapt strategies for student success
