Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Illinois state licensure—or eligibility
- Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations, particularly in an elementary setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and academic achievement
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school community
