This contract opportunity is for a 1.0 FTE Oregon-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students during the current school year. The position is based in Oregon City, OR, within an elementary school setting, and offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled speech therapy services to elementary-aged students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current Oregon State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience providing skilled speech therapy services in an educational setting is highly desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
