Grades K - 5 Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Ventura, CA

Location: Ventura, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy to students with speech and language challenges.
- Support caseload management, typically averaging 55 cases.
- Work closely with children in grades K–6, addressing mild to moderate communication needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff to enhance student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Fluency in Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with students and families.
- A minimum of one full school year of experience as an SLPA is preferred.
- Knowledge of therapy techniques applicable in a school environment.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week within the school calendar.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Schedule:
- Approximately 35 hours per week aligned with the school schedule.
