Travel Speech Language Pathologist | Virgie, Kentucky

Work an 8-hour day schedule, typically 8:00am–4:30pm, giving you plenty of daylight hours to discover the natural beauty and local charm that eastern Kentucky has to offer. Between cases and after shifts, enjoy exploring hiking trails, scenic drives, and the vibrant history of the area.
You’ll work alongside supportive, resilient clinicians and benefit from leadership styles that inspire growth. Collaboration and adaptability are highly valued, making this the perfect role for a motivated, social, and hard-working SLP ready for adventure and progress.
Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour days, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 40 guaranteed hours per week (except during orientation week and holidays if the unit closes)
Qualifications:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure
- Proven experience in hospital-based therapy
- Charting experience with Epic EMR
- COVID-19 vaccination required unless exempt for medical/religious reasons (exemptions require weekly PCR testing)
- Strong communication and adaptability
- Professional, team-oriented attitude
- Navy Blue scrubs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy assessments and interventions to a diverse patient population
- Document and track patient progress using Epic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans
- Adapt to changing caseloads within a large hospital setting
- Maintain a positive, flexible outlook
