Speech Therapy - Vineland, New Jersey
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Vineland, NJ, offering a contract engagement focused on pediatric therapy in an outpatient hospital setting. This role involves working with children presenting a range of communication disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, Trisomy 21, mixed receptive-expressive language impairments, articulation/phonology disorders, apraxia, and fluency challenges. The position is based in a specialized children’s center well-equipped to support advanced therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized speech-language therapy to pediatric patients using AAC technology and other evidence-based approaches.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children with diverse developmental needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy in a structured schedule of four 10-hour day shifts, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Active New Jersey State License for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Experience treating pediatric speech and language disorders, including autism and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Proficiency with AAC devices and familiarity with outpatient clinical protocols.
- No call, weekend, or holiday requirements.
