- Prepare effectively for all evaluation and therapy sessions.
- Educate multidisciplinary staff on patient needs and therapy outcomes, incorporating current research.
- Develop and deliver in-service training and educational programs for healthcare team members.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other providers to ensure patient-centered care.
- Maintain cleanliness in treatment areas following sessions.
- Provide patient reminder calls and assist patients and families in navigating hospital services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in hospital-based SLP services preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient documentation and organizational skills.
